Two parcels full of gorgeous new pieces have just arrived at my desk! Both lots of items are from two brand new designers, Sofa City Sweethearts and Hip Hop Candy and I can't say how excited I am to have them on board.

Below is a little sneeky look at some of their pieces, which I will be adding to the site over the next couple of days.

Raising money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we want to do our part! To help raise money we have created a number of limited edition pieces, of which 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

We have also picked out some pink pieces from Ji Ji Kiki and a portion of the proceeds from these will be donated. We have put the pink ribbon and a little bit of information of each of the pieces.

Below are the limited edition items of which 50% will be donated-not only will you be getting something only a few other people will own you'll also be helping us raise money to find a cure for cancer. And if that doesn't give you a fuzzy feeling inside we don't know what will, so get shopping and thank you!

More birthday celebrations!

Continuing with our birthday celebrations this month we have two new competitions to announce!
The first is with Aussie blog Tee and Fame, who are giving you the chance to win one of three necklaces, 'Paris je t'aime', 'Sadako' origami crane or a retro camera necklace.

This month marks our second birthday! The last year has been amazing and we have so many exciting new things planned for the next few months.

We have just added a new bar to the bottom of the website which allows you to interact with us on Facebook and Twitter without having to open a new window!

The toolbar also has a very useful function which allows you to translate the website into your own language, which we hope will be a useful feature for our non-English speaking customers.

Video review

One of our lovely customers has done a little video review of some of our vintage jewellery products, including the long leaf earrings, chrysanthemum ring and antique brass swallow necklace.

The gorgeous Katherine usually reviews make-up and beauty products, so this was a lovely surprise to find that she'd taken the time to review some of our jewellery as well.

We are letting you choose which item you'd like to be reduced for 24 hours in the coming week's Monday Monkey!
Each week we reduce one item by 15% to help the make the start of the week a little easier. The last two weeks Monkey has chosen his favourite pieces, but for the last Monday of the month we want to give you the choice.

Please leave your suggestions in a comment here or on our Facebook page and we will open the suggestions to voting this evening (so make sure you come back and vote)-the item with the most votes will be our chosen item on Monday 26th June!

Monday Monkey lives for the weekend!

Unfortunately we don't have the ability to extend the weekend, but we can try and make Mondays a little more bare-able with our new weekly treat!
Each Monday we will randomly pick an item and take 15% off until 10am on Tuesday.

As you start typing the @Ji Ji Kiki, it will come up with our name and logo in a drop down box, as shown below...



All you have to do it click on our name before posting your update. This will create a blue, clickable link to our page. Your entry then shows up on our page so we know that you've entered! Clever, eh.

We are very excited as the postman brought a package yesterday filled with some super cute, kawaii jewellery!

Little Ninja necklace, £16.50

The pieces are all handmade from polymer clay and then decorated with happy and cheeky faces. They are beautifully made and you'd have to have a heart of stone to not love them!


The jewellery is made by the very talented Jen, otherwise known as Komodokat, who was nominated by for Fred Flare's 'New Big Thing' award in 2008.

Happy New Year! I hope you all had an exciting Christmas. I have been working hard over the holidays making new jewellery and finding lots of lovely new things to stock in our shop.
